WALK TO BETHLEHEM

NCD Wellness Ministries Program Beginning on October 4th

Total as of October 17th:  3,709.25

  To

With only 5 churches reporting miles, we are half way to Bethlehem!   3,709.25 miles out of our 6,570 mile journey.   We’re almost back on dry land!   That’s a lot of praying, Bible study and exercise!    The people of the North Coast District have invited lots of people church!   People are taking better care of their bodies through eating fruits and vegetables and getting flu shots!

It’s never too late to start walking or to report those miles!   Our challenge now is to see how many times we can make it to Bethlehem—and back to the district office in Cleveland!   Is there a church or two in the district who can get to Bethlehem on their own?     By chance, can we get to Bethlehem by our exercise alone?

Bonus points--- Earn an extra miles by taking a 30 minute walk on Thanksgiving.   Wear a pedometer and earn  3 miles for every mile that you walk on Thanksgiving!

The January issue of Joining Hands, the conference magazine, will be about wellness and there will be an article about our Walk to Bethlehem!    I’d love to submit pictures of any displays that you have in your local church.   I’d also like to submit any stories about how you have personalized the walk for your church.     Maps, posters, special programs are all welcome.

Blessings,

Linda
