In addition to their cell phone recycling drive and newspaper collection bin, Pleasant Hills has added another recycling service by accepting used, empty inkjet cartridges. There are millions of these cartridges disposed of annually. Pleasant Hills is hoping to reduce the number going into landfills by collecting them for recycling. All brands of inkjet cartridges are being accepted. The church requests that they be placed in zip-lock bags before being deposited in the bin located inside the church. Cartridges may be dropped off at the church during non-church hours outside the front doors under the portico. Pleasant Hills Church is located at 13200 E. Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. 440-845-1244. Services are at 9am and 11am Sundays. Led by Pastor William E. Buckeye..

Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130, has embarked on a campaign to collect used, retired cell phones, in order to put them to use in family shelters and similar organizations throughout the U.S. Additionally, the church hopes to help the environment by preventing these phones from ending up in landfills. Pleasant Hills has teamed up with Charitable Recycling of Michigan to represent this program in Ohio. For every phone turned in to Charitable Recycling, the church will receive one dollar. Monies received from the project will go to the churches mission fund. Anyone interested in donating cell phones to this effort, should drop their phones off at the church anytime Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., or on Sundays during worship times; 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. Phones may also be mailed to the church. Phones should be deactivated, and when possible include manuals, batteries, and chargers. Pleasant Hills will provide receipts for the charitable contribution.
